Steve Rodger Superb album of grunge tinged psych doom, oh and it has a Dune reference... Favorite track: Weirding Way.

FDJ (Desert Psychlist) A NOLA band with a sound so heavy and intense you could be fooled into thinking they were some new band coming out of the Polish doom scene, which if you are familiar with that scene is high praise indeed!

Justin@BlindMouse This is a completely absorbing album. Full of sludgy fuzz and revved up rhythm!! When the album finished I was left spinning in silence, only then to realize how deep I had been pulled into it’s murky depths.

Fuzzy Cracklins (The Swamp Records) Killer blend of grunge and heavy psych. Easily one of the best concept albums of the year. Fuzzy's review is at www.fuzzycracklins.com/2020/08/nausea.html Favorite track: Charybdis.

1.
Landsickness 06:47
We are the sickness that we spite We are an overgrowth We spread our ills and our contagion With every strike, opposing force We forge concrete jungles of displacement To monoculture we raise monoliths We scorch the trees to feed the tumor With every strike, opposing force These are dire times to be a cancer These are dire times to be such filth The earth now demands its justice With every strike, opposing force

3.
Scylla 02:49
Theosophers gathering 'Round cyclopean ruins Call of the great one Its message to me The great one sleeps beneath the Urth Find myself reading these hieroglyphics The words unknown to human language The great one sleeps beneath the Urth
4.
Bad Faith 04:49
Options weighed, choices made Reconcile my bad faith Bloody hands, word betrayed Judas kissed, Caesar paid Weighed down Weighed down by lead shackles Drown in my own denial Weighed down by world's silence Fate's burden bears on me Weighed down by world's way

Weirding Way 03:42
Sage fills the air Grounds the obscure Divinity to bear I'm waning slowly Near precipice World shrinks before me Deaf to the rest I'm waning slowly Faced with doubt Compelled countenance Life disavowed I'm waning slowly Continue the ascent My will crumbles Withered bones lament I'm waning slowly Glacier falls Ground displaced Sifting through A shifting maze On most high Holy daze Lose myself To the way Weirding way
7.
Charybdis 08:24
All systems entwined Can't breathe for myself Wires trace through this form Sustaining the shell Our law is disorder Our progress bids blood All actions required Lumped in with the sum Ash returns to ash By necessity Fall folly of empires To great Entropy
8.
Mereology 03:28
What are you a part of? Whose side are you on? Whose ends are you serving? Whose will is your own? Protect and serve the state Line pockets and fill the cage Your justice is empty What side are you on? What are you a part of? Whose ends are you serving? Whose will is your own? You're the functioning avatar of a sick world dying. Life taken with the gun in your hand, forgoing all sense of humanity, liberty, solidarity, all in favor of [________]. You gash at wounds, you murder. I'm sick.
9.
The tide itself defies The will of man to stratify Beyond the bounds of reason The sea indifferent swells A body without organs Subsistence free of cells The tide itself defies The will of man to stratify What resists, I can't deny Crashing waves, the sun and sky
10.
Phage 08:16
Oceans are rising Our final hour The age of nowhere The phage will devour Factories churning Mechanical birth Reduction to values On quantified earth Faceless Force without will Poisons Down to the root We feed, we reap Factories churn and burn Production and consumption become our only essence A singular unit of process The great object grows, subsumes all We're one with this machine The logical progression of our evolution The next stage in history We transcend the limits given by biology Inhaling its toxins Smog fills my lungs I can't breathe, I can't breathe I'm suffocated by commodity I can't breathe, I can't breathe
